Through the OCSC Holiday Bazaar, we work hard to raise money to donate for various needs. Our board reviews several requests each month and makes many charitable donations to local and national charities. We contribute to our local schools and our local needs. We also give to needs in our German community. Finally, we support organizations that support our troops downrange and the entire military community.
If your organization or activity is in need of contributions and would like the OCSC to consider your request, please complete and submit a Need Request Form. For additional information or to submit a request, contact Amanda Goeppinger, OCSC Welfare Treasurer, at welfaretreasurer@spangdahlemocsc.org. Please send fund request in 5 working days prior to the board meeting for consideration. Board meeting dates for the current year are as follows: September 2, 2009; October 7, 2009; November 4, 2009; December 2, 2009; January 6, 2010; February 3, 2010; March 3, 2010; April 7, 2010; and May 5, 2010.
The OCSC also teams up with the SSEMC to give thousands and thousands of dollars to scholarships for spouses and our high school students seeking higher education. For more information on scholarships see the scholarship page. There will be more information in the Spring.
